Who should run the Diagnostic?

Founders & CMOs

You own the number but not the wiring underneath it.

Marketing ops

You run the stack and need to know what is actually firing.

CTOs, CIOs & IT security

Your team owns the tools and the trust posture.

Agencies

You run discovery and quarterly reviews on clients and prospects.

Anyone with a stake. If you are responsible for marketing infrastructure, an investor running due diligence, a compliance officer checking trust posture, or a builder who wants a look under-the-hood, you should add it to your toolbox. It works on any business with a public URL, so you can point it at a competitor as readily as yourself — the starting point for a Competitive Report.

Every report produces a MIDAS score

A 0–100 composite drawn from your 10 pillar scores, your perception gap, infrastructure coherence, and budget efficiency. Each business gets a unique fingerprint mark and lands in one of five tiers.

90 / 100

Exceptional

Deliberate, coherent, ahead of baseline

Strong tier fingerprint
75 / 100

Strong

Well-integrated, minor gaps remain

What lands in your inbox

A real report has six sections. The free run unlocks all ten pillar scores, the top blind spot in detail, the executive summary, and the verdict cards. Paid plans unlock the rest of each section in place — no re-scan needed.

01

Executive Summary

One-page narrative — where you stand, what to do first.

02

MIDAS Score

The composite + Galton fingerprint mark unique to your business.

03

Pillar Scoring

Ten pillars, scored independently. Perception vs reality, side by side.

04

Blind Spots

Pillars where what you think and what we detect disagree most.

05

Action Items

Prioritised list. You triage, mark in-progress, verify on re-run.

06

Detected Tech Stack

Every tool we found — Conventional and Agentic, classified.

The methodology is in the open

We publish what we measure and why — the ten pillars, the perception-gap mechanic, the MIDAS composite. We reserve the algorithmic specifics: weights, signal extraction, model prompts.

What happens after the Diagnostic

The Diagnostic produces action items, not a sales call. You triage them yourself first. Help is available when you decide you need it — not before.

01

Report lands with action items

A prioritised list of corrections per pillar. Each item tagged with severity and effort. You own the list from the moment it lands.

02

You triage and prioritise

Mark items as queued, in-progress, or dismissed. Items start as suggested — the Action Items workspace tracks status changes over time and surfaces them on re-run.

03

Implement what's clear

Most action items are small, technical fixes a competent operator can ship in an afternoon. Do those first. Tag what needs help.

04

Re-run to verify, or book help

Re-running shows what improved. If the remaining items need translation, the Strategic Assessment is a paid ~3hr engagement (1hr live session). Optional.

The intelligence layer, in practice

The disciplines of infrastructure management

The intelligence layer isn't a dashboard — it's a practice. Six continuous disciplines, run by you or by your agents.

Verify configuration
Design the systems beneath
Diagnose all ten pillars
Orchestrate tools and agents
Translate findings into action
Govern every action

If your Diagnostic surfaces 30+ action items, you don't need another tool.
You need translation.

Plans give you the platform. Services give you a human with domain expertise to walk the findings, sequence the work, and tell you which item to do first.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Diagnostic really free?

Yes. The 10-pillar automated analysis is free with no credit card required. You'll get scores across all ten pillars, your single most critical blind spot in full detail, an executive summary, and infrastructure verdict cards. Paid plans unlock the rest of the report — every blind spot, market intelligence, the full budget breakdown, action items, and PDF export — but the underlying analysis is the same.

How long does the Diagnostic take to run?

Five to ten minutes end to end. The self-assessment takes about a minute. When you submit, the system kicks off the analysis and asks you to verify your email — the analysis runs in the background while you verify. The report lands once both finish. Time has grown from earlier versions as we added more signal providers and more complex prompting.

Open full answer →
Do I need to give you access to my systems?

No. The Diagnostic operates entirely from public signals — your website, social profiles, DNS records, sitemap, robots.txt, what AI systems can find about you. No analytics logins, no ad account access, no CRM credentials. The Diagnostic requires nothing more than a URL.

What's the difference between the Diagnostic and the Strategic Assessment?

The Diagnostic is the automated 10-pillar analysis — free, machine-run, five to ten minutes. It tells you what the system measured. The Strategic Assessment ($300 USD, ~3hr engagement: pre-research, 1hr live session, follow-up) is the human translation layer on top — we walk through findings together, explain what each result means for your specific business, and build a prioritised action plan.

Who is the Diagnostic for?

Anyone responsible for, or adjacent to, marketing infrastructure that has grown beyond what one person can hold in their head. Clearest fits: founders, CMOs, marketing operations leads, CTOs and CIOs whose teams own the stack, IT security responsible for the trust posture, and agencies running diagnostics on prospects or clients as part of discovery or quarterly review. The Diagnostic works on any business with a public URL.

How do I know if my infrastructure is ready for agentic marketing?

AI agents are already operating in your stack — your ad platforms, CRM, and email tools add autonomous automation whether you deployed it or not. 'Agentic readiness' is whether agents can reliably discover you, act through your funnel, convert, and be observed — a cross-pillar property the Diagnostic scores under the Tech Stack, Discoverability, Conversion, and Trust & Security pillars (Tech Stack carries an explicit agentic-readiness sub-score). But the deeper test is trust: an agent optimising against silently-broken tracking just scales the mistake faster, so readiness also depends on whether the infrastructure underneath is accurate enough to act on. The report surfaces both.
