The Name
Our name comes from one of our area's earliest way-finders: Tête Jaune — "Yellowhead." A blonde-haired Iroquois man who crossed the Rocky Mountains, helped other travellers to do the same, and traded fur pelts — the commodity of his day.
Like the first Yellowhead, we are your way-finders for an agentic age, helping you blaze your trail through the digital landscape.
The Founder
Chris Enns spent five years at IG Australia as Digital Marketing Manager for APAC — managing programmatic display campaigns across Australia, Singapore, and east Asia for one of the world's largest derivatives brokers. He architected Google Tag Manager infrastructure for DailyFX, IG Group's global financial content platform, and served as project liaison for the APAC components of a company-wide GDPR rollout. Before that, he worked at MediaCom in Melbourne, planning and executing multi-channel campaigns across agency clients.
That background — five years in a regulated financial services environment where a misconfigured tag could trigger a regulator, where tracking gaps were business problems, and where "close enough" wasn't an option — is the foundation Yellowhead's methodology is built on. The forensic approach isn't borrowed from a consulting textbook. It's the product of operating in environments where rigour wasn't optional.
Earlier in his career, Chris worked in litigation support at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers — coordinating document discovery, maintaining evidence databases, and learning that rigorous documentation before action isn't a process overhead, it's how you avoid catastrophic mistakes. And before that, in electrical contracting: you don't run cable until the drawings are approved and the spec is signed off. Spec first, build second. That instinct has been consistent across every domain since.

Digital Media Implementation, Planning & Investment
MediaCom, Melbourne 2014 – 2015Global media agency. Planned and executed multi-channel campaigns for agency clients — liaising with clients, publishers, ad operations, and creative agencies. Developed media strategies, managed campaign trafficking, and reported on progression and performance.
Digital Marketing Manager, APAC
IG Australia 2015 – 2020Five years managing programmatic display across Australia, Singapore, and east Asia for one of the world's largest CFD and derivatives brokers. Responsible for all display media buying — programmatic, direct, and local agencies — across the APAC region. Architected and maintained Google Tag Manager infrastructure for DailyFX, IG Group's global financial content platform. Served as project liaison for the APAC components of a company-wide GDPR rollout. Managed the APAC marketing partnerships (affiliate) program and reported into two management meetings: share-trading revenue and non-office revenue. Operated under ASIC regulatory constraints on a daily basis.

StoneX Group 2021Contract engagement with another major global financial services group, extending the regulated financial services pattern into a second institutional environment.
Where We Work
Yellowhead is based in Clearwater, BC — but the work is remote by default. We have direct experience operating across Australian, Singaporean, and UK markets, and we work with businesses wherever they operate.
